The WooSox and Agnelli Law Ready to Play Ball.

AGNELLI LAW OFFICE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE IT HAS PARTNERED WITH THE WORCESTER RED SOX, AKA THE WOOSOX, AS A CORPORATE SPONSOR FOR THE 2022 BASEBALL SEASON! WE LOOK FORWARD TO A LONG AND REWARDING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WOOSOX AND ITS GREAT STAFF! LET’S MAKE IT A CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON!

About the Worcester Red Sox

The Worcester Red Sox, also affectionately known as the WooSox, are a minor league Triple A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. They made their move from Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where they were known as the Pawtucket PawSox, and began play in Worcester, MA in the spring of 2021. Bringing along their winning tradition, fun family atmosphere, and community service. All important attributes that made partnering with the WooSox an easy decision for Agnelli Law Offices.

Polar Park home of the WooSox

The WooSox play their home games at the newly constructed Polar Park, the newest addition to the revitalized Canal Street District. You’ll also find the Mercantile Center, home of Agnelli Law Office only minutes from the park.

When attending the games, you’ll find some of Worcester’s best local treasures at Polar Park. Wonder bar Pizza, Table Talk Pies, BT’s Smokehouse, Wormtown Brewery, George’s Coney Island hot dogs, and of course Polar Beverages are all served inside the park during games and other events. If it’s a Worcester original, you’ll find it at Polar Park, home of the WooSox.

Meet Smiley Ball

Speaking of Worcester’s originals, meet the WooSox’s mascot, Smiley Ball. Smiley Ball is a nod to Worcester’s happiest contribution to pop culture, the smiley face, created by Harvey Ball in 1963. Smiley Ball was introduced October 2, 2020 on World Smile Day and has been happily representing the City of Worcester and the WooSox ever since.

A Community First Partner

Along with the wonderful family experience at the ball park, The Worcester Red Sox bring their community first commitment to the city of Worcester, a value and tradition both the organization and Agnelli Law Offices share. Making partnering up with the Worcester Red Sox an easy decision. Here are just some of the community programs, but you can find a full list and more info on the WooSox official website.

  • The WooSox Foundation
  • Country Bank Most Valuable Teacher
  • Umass Memorial Health’s Home Run for Life
  • Fallon Health Strikeout Hunger
  • In Debt to a Vet
  • Hometown Heroes
  • Youth Clinics

Catch a Game

You can listen to the WooSox every game on Nash Icon 98.9 FM. Games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can listen on Worcester’s 100.1 FM The Pike. You can also listen live online on their website. Also on the WooSox site, you’ll find information on a subscription plan to their MiLB.TV service to watch games with live streaming or on-demand. But the best way in our opinion is to catch a game live in person at Polar Park. Tickets can be purchased on Worcester Red Sox ticket page.
